BOOKING AND PAYMENT
The person who signs the booking contract is responsible for all payments in respect of the booking. Reservations will be confirmed upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week. This amount should be received within 5 days of the initial telephone or email booking or your option will be automatically released. The balance should be received, no later than 10 weeks prior to the commencement of rental. Should payment not arrive by this time the booking may be cancelled and the cancellation charges below will come into effect. Full payment will be required for bookings made within 10 weeks of departure.
More than 70 days…Deposit only
70 - 42 days...50% or deposit (whichever is greater)
41 - 29 day...75%
28 - 0 day…100%
Any alterations made by us will be due to circumstances beyond our control and if not acceptable, a full refund will be given.
If you have confirmed your booking and then decide to alter dates, we will do our best to help if it is outside of 10 weeks of your arrival. Alterations may incur an administration fee of £25 and if made within 10 weeks of your arrival may be treated as a cancellation and charges made.
You will be required to pay a security deposit of £100 with your balance payment, which will be refunded in full within 30 days of departure, provided no damage, losses or additional charges are incurred and reported to us by our management company who inspect the villa after every departure. Please do not contact us regarding the return of the security deposit unless 30 days have passed, as we have to wait until we receive confirmation from the US that all is well before it is returned.
Our management company is located only minutes from our villa and they are very efficient and ensure that the villa is well cared for in every way. This includes the garden, pool and checking the inventory. They are also on hand to offer assistance during your stay. Details will be given upon receipt of your balance payment along with directions to our villa.
We recommend that you always have adequate cover when travelling abroad.
Neither the Management Company nor we can be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising in connection with your stay at our villa outside of any reasonable control. This includes acts of God, war or civil disturbances, strikes or industrial action, acts of Government or any other events beyond our control.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Passports, Visas, Health Certificates and Travel Documents are the responsibility of the party leader. We accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred arising from any irregularity with such documents.
The villa computer is monitored and any visiting of adult web sites that could be found offensive will not be tolerated and could end up with anybody visiting such sites being asked to vacate the villa.
PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS
In the very unlikely event that you experience any problems with The House Near The Mouse you must contact our local Management Company who will do their best to assist and rectify the matter as soon as is practically possible. Should a problem remain unresolved the Owners must be notified immediately.
This booking shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of, or in connection with, the terms of this booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of descriptions concerning The House Near The Mouse and services provided. However, we cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions and/or changes beyond our control.
International travellers who are seeking to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are now subject to enhanced security requirements and will be required to pay an administrative fee. All eligible travellers who wish to travel to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization.
