THE SUNSHINE STATE WEATHER

Many people come to Florida come because of the weather. Even in the dead of winter, there is no snow on the ground and the temperature usually hovers in the 60s during the day, dropping to the 50s in the evening. While Orlando clearly has beautiful weather, there are important things to remember depending on when you're travelling.

For a detailed look at monthly, temperature trends please refer to the chart below. Please remember it is quite possible for the highs to be 10 degrees higher than the average.

The fact that there is no snow or ice in the winter months is nice, but temperatures can get cool at night and can sometimes even stay chilly during the day. If you're visiting during these months, be sure to pack long pants, sweatshirts and jackets. If it gets warm, you can always take them off and switch to shorts and T-shirts.

During the summer months, it can get extremely hot in the sun. If you are travelling to
Orlando at this time of year, make sure that you pack hats and sunglasses, as well as sun block, to protect yourself when you are outside. In addition, we recommend that you drink plenty of water and fluids throughout the day. Also, listen to your body – if you feel you need to rest, and then take a quick break. You'll thank yourself later.

The summer months also bring rain to the area in much heavier amounts than during the rest of the year. Ponchos and rain gear inside the parks is very expensive, so be sure to pack some rain supplies just in case.

Most important to remember, however, is that
Florida
weather is unpredictable and can change in minutes many times throughout the day. There may be clear skies all morning and then an afternoon thunderstorm could roll in out of nowhere. Also, it could start raining and then stop just two minutes later. Chilly breezes can come and go. Be prepared for anything.

Now that you know these important tips about the weather in
Orlando
, you should be all ready for your trip!
